Frequently Asked Questions

What is Anthem?

Anthem is a boutique indoor cycling studio where the challenges of cycling meet the fun aspects of upbeat exercise put to invigorating music. We believe that fitness is a lifestyle decision, encompassing exercise, nutrition, positive thinking and a supportive community. We want to empower individuals to make each day a great day no matter how hectic their schedules may be.

Do I need cycling shoes?

To get the most out of the workout, Anthem encourages our riders to use cycling shoes. Cycling shoes allow you to clip securely into the pedals and deliver a more efficient and powerful pedal stroke. Shoes are provided for free but feel free to bring your own SPD shoes. If you really can’t get used to cycling shoes, our pedals are also equipped with shoe cages that allow you to strap in your regular sports shoes

Are there private classes?

Definitely! To book a private class, please call to enquire or write to us at hello@anthem.sg.

How are Anthem classes different from indoor cycling classes at my gym?

We provide cleated shoes and performance tracking to ensure you get the most out of your ride. In addition, all rides at Anthem are rhythm rides. Our awesome playlist of invigorating music will stimulate and inspire you to press on. Our studio offers an intimate setting and each class is carefully crafted so you have a blast working out your core and other muscle groups with a supportive group of riders.

What’s the difference between Anthem 45 and Anthem Road?

Our signature Anthem 45 class incorporates upper body exercises through hand weights and on-the-bike choreography that is both safe and fun. The Anthem Road class is a more structured, traditional indoor cycling class, with a roadmap laid out for your ride. Both rides are sset to awesome playlists, and has all the hills, flats, intervals you require to challenge yourself.

What is this “performance tracking” about?

Anthem offers individual performance tracking that allows each rider to monitor their performance and track their progress over time. It allows you to set realistic goals and inspire you to reach them.

I am not sure if I should be doing physical activity. Can I take an Anthem indoor cycling class?

If you are pregnant, unwell, have a history of epilepsy or any other pre-existing medical condition; please consult your doctor on whether our classes are suitable for you.
